The Red Leaf YDC-4C Plastic Scoop Stretcher is a two-piece, rigid stretcher made from a combination of high-strength aluminum alloy and HDPE (high-density polyethylene). It is designed for safely transferring patients with severe injuries, such as fractures, by minimizing movement to prevent further injury. The stretcher separates into two parts, allowing first responders to "scoop" the patient up from both sides without having to lift or roll them.
