McPherson Bella Luna Sangiovese is a vibrant, medium-bodied red from Victoria’s Goulburn Valley.
Look: Bright ruby-red colour. Medium intensity.
Aromas: Aromas of red cherries, plum, and raspberry dominate, with herbal undertones (dried herbs, maybe a hint of sage or thyme) and possibly a touch of spice or earthiness.
Flavour: Juicy red fruit at the front, especially cherry and plum. Has lively acidity, giving freshness and lift. Tannins are moderate—enough to give some structure but not overly astringent. There may be some savoury or herbaceous note on the mid-palate.
Finish: Dry, clean finish with lingering red fruit and herbal hints. The finish is balanced rather than very long, making it easy drinking.
