The ELGO IZ16E-000-1-0.3.0-0 is a battery-powered, incremental position indicator and display system. It's designed for linear and angular measurement without the need for an external power supply, making it ideal for applications like saw tables, fences, and other adjustable machine parts.
Display: It features a 7-digit LCD that can show measurements in millimeters, meters, inches, or degrees. It also displays a sign, special characters, and a battery status indicator.
Measurement Principle: The system uses an incremental magnetic sensor to measure position. It works by detecting changes in a corresponding magnetic tape or ring with a 2.5 mm pole pitch.
Power Source: The unit is powered by an integrated battery case (Type C/LR14). It has a long battery life of 1-3 years, depending on usage.
Sensor Cable: The 0.3.0 in the model number indicates a sensor cable length of 0.3 meters (300 mm). The cable is fixed to the indicator and is suitable for use in drag chains.
Mounting: The indicator has a snap-in housing for easy panel mounting, and the sensor itself is made from zinc die-cast with an IP67 protection class.
Functionality: It offers a range of programmable features, including adjustable counting direction, an adjustable decimal point, a multiplication factor, and a keylock. Users can also switch between incremental and absolute measuring and set up to three tool offsets.
