Pairing Steps - Remote Control & App
1. Install the batteries into the remote control then wait for more than 10 seconds after the
device (TUYA-C01 remote control) is powered on to proceed the pairing section.
2. After the remote control is ready, open the Tuya App inyour mobile phone and proceed
to the Home Page of the app, as shown like Figure 1 - Home Page.
3. Click on the orange button located in upper right of the Tuya App Home Page to
move into add device interface as shwon in Figure 2 - Add Device Menu.
4. Press and hold the "ON" and "OFF" buttons simultaneously for more than 5 seconds until
the signal indicator light in the upper left corner of the TUYA-C01 remote control flashes
for 1 second then stop pressing the button. If not, repeat Step 4 again.
Pairing Steps - Remote Control & Lights
1. Pairing: Within 3-10S after the lights are powered on, press and hold the grouping key (A or B) for 5S,
and then the lights will be paired successfully. If there is no prompt, the lights can be operated
several times.
2. Unpairing: At any time, press and hold the grouping key and brightness down key for 5S to unpair.
3. Removing: At any times, press and hold the turn-on key brightness down key for 5S at the same
time to removal all channel remote controllers.
4. Resetting paired devices: After pairing, at any time, press the grouping key and the brightness up key
for 5S at the same time to reset the corresponding grouped devices to enter the pairing.
5. After complete Step 4, wait for a pop-up appears on the Tuya App and click "Go to add" as shown in
Figure 4 - Pop Up Notification to add the device. You may rename the device after complete device
adding in the Tuya App.
6. Click on the device icon you just added in Tuya App Device Menu to enter the remote control group
control and device adding group interface as shown in Figure 5 - Remote Control Pairing. Click on
any of the groups you want to join.
7. After done clicking into any of the groups, click the "O" on the end of corresponds device name to select
then click "Save" in the upper right corner to complete the pairing with the remote control same as shown
in Figure 6 - Device Adding Selection.
Important:
- Please note that you must connect to the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network or the pairing will fail.
- Most moden routers will have both 5HGz and 2.4GHz Wi-Fi networks. It is highly recommended to have different
- Wi-Fi names for both networks so that you can accurately choose the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network one.
- If your router auto combines the 5GHz and 2.4GHz Wi-Fi networks together as a single Wi-Fi name, you may not be to pair successfully.
If Pairing Fails:
- Ensure the signal indicator light of the TUYA-C01 remote control flashes for 1 second before stop pressing. (Refer Step 4)
- Ensure the Wi-Fi network you are using to do pairing is on your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
