Criteria

Applicants must meet one of the following academic requirements:

For SPM, 'A' grades include A+, A, and A-.

Highlight

• The continuation of this scholarship for subsequent years is contingent upon the student's academic standing relative to their peers within the same programme and intake year.
• To retain a scholarship value of over 80%, students must rank in the top 25% of their cohort by CGPA.
• For scholarships exceeding 50%, a position in the top 35% is required.
• Scholarships of more than 25% require students to be in the top 45%.
• To maintain a scholarship of 25% or less, students must be within the top 70% of their peers.

Details

The Xiamen University Malaysia Merit Scholarship is designed to recognize and reward students with outstanding academic achievements in their SPM, O-Level, or UEC examinations. This scholarship provides a pathway for high-achievers to embark on their pre-university studies with substantial financial support, covering up to the full tuition fee for our foundation programmes.
