Nebicard 5mg contains nebivolol hydrochloride, a beta-1 selective beta-blocker used primarily for:
Hypertension (High Blood Pressure)
Lowers blood pressure to reduce the risk of heart attack, stroke, and kidney problems.
Heart Failure (Mild to Moderate, Stable)
Sometimes used as adjunct therapy in heart failure with reduced ejection fraction (under specialist supervision).
Other Off-label Uses (under physician’s direction):
Tachycardia (fast heart rate)
Prevention of angina (chest pain)
Dosage Form: Oral tablet
Usual adult dose: 5 mg once daily
Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
You may take it with or without food — try to be consistent with the timing.
