Our Vestosint® Polyamide 12 (PA12) coating service provides a tough, smooth, and highly durable finish through Evonik-certified fluidized bed and electrostatic coating techniques. Using Vestosint® 1111 Fine Powders, a high-performance thermoplastic developed by Evonik, we deliver coatings that offer excellent adhesion, flexibility, and resistance to corrosion, abrasion, and impact — even in aggressive industrial or marine environments.

Our Coating Process

Our coating procedures comply with Evonik’s official Vestosint® Coating Standards, ensuring excellent coverage, adhesion, and surface finish.

Surface Preparation

  • Grit blasting to SA 2.5/3 (ISO 8501-01) using angular steel grit or corundum.

  • Achieved roughness: Rz 35–45 µm.

  • Coating applied within 8 hours of surface prep to prevent oxidation.

Fluidized Bed Coating

  • Preheated components are immersed in a fluidized bed of Vestosint® 1111 powder, ensuring uniform coating build-up.

  • Typical coating thickness: 200–500 µm, depending on part geometry and service requirements.

  • Optimized for steel, aluminum, and galvanized substrates.

Electrostatic Spraying (Optional)

  • Electrostatic charge range: ±35–45 kV, current 10–30 µA.

  • Fusion at 190–210°C, ensuring full coalescence and excellent bonding.

  • Controlled cooling to preserve mechanical integrity and smooth surface finish.
