Instructions for Using the 74HC4051A

1. Power Supply:

   • Connect V_CC to the positive supply voltage (2.0V to 6.0V).
   • Connect GND to the ground.

2. Signal Input/Output:

   • Connect the input signals to the common input/output (Y0 to Y7) pins.

     • S0 = 1, S1 = 1, S2 = 1 → Y7

5. Inhibit Control:

   • Set INH to low (0V) to enable the selected channel.
   • Set INH to high (V_CC) to disable all channels.

6. Handling and Storage:

   • Store the device in a dry environment within the temperature range specified.
   • Handle with care to avoid static damage. Use proper ESD protection when handling the device.

7. Testing and Troubleshooting:

   • Ensure that the supply voltage is within the specified range.
   • Verify that the control signals (S0, S1, S2, INH) are correctly configured.
   • Check for any short circuits or open connections in the circuit.
