Contents

• Active Ingredient: Each tablet contains 20 mg of rivaroxaban, a direct oral anticoagulant that inhibits factor Xa, reducing the formation of blood clots.

Indications

• Reduce the risk of stroke and systemic embolism in patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation. 
• Treat deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE).
• Prevent the recurrence of DVT and/or PE following at least 6 months of initial treatment. 
• Prophylaxis of DVT in patients undergoing knee or hip replacement surgery.

Instructions for Use

• Dosage: Take 20 mg once daily with food.
• Administration: Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
• Missed Dose: If a dose is missed, take it as soon as possible on the same day. Do not take two doses on the same day to make up for a missed dose.
• Crushing Tablets: If you have difficulty swallowing tablets, Xarelto 20 mg tablets can be crushed and mixed with water or applesauce immediately before taking. After administration, follow with food.
• Feeding Tube Administration: Crushed tablets can be administered via nasogastric or gastric feeding tube after confirming correct placement. Suspend the crushed tablet in 50 mL of water and administer immediately, followed by enteral feeding.
