Deplatt 75 /mg is indicated for:
Prevention of Atherothrombotic Events
In patients with a history of myocardial infarction (heart attack), ischemic stroke, or established peripheral arterial disease.
Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS)
Used with aspirin to reduce the risk of cardiovascular death, heart attack, or stroke in:
Patients with unstable angina or non-ST elevation myocardial infarction (NSTEMI).
Patients with ST elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI), treated medically or with PCI (percutaneous coronary intervention).
Post–Coronary Stenting or Angioplasty
Prevents stent thrombosis when used with low-dose aspirin.
Dosage:
Typically, one tablet (75 /mg) once daily, taken at the same time each day.
In ACS, the initial dose may be 300 /mg loading dose, followed by 75 /mg daily (as per doctor’s direction).
How to Take:
Can be taken with or without food.
Swallow the tablet whole with water — do not crush or chew.
Missed Dose:
Take as soon as remembered.
If close to next dose, skip missed dose. Do not double dose.
