Montelukast sodium equivalent to 5 /mg per tablet
Prevention and chronic control of asthma in pediatric patients aged 6 to 14 years.
Relief of symptoms of allergic rhinitis (both seasonal and perennial) in children aged 6 to 14 years, as chewable form.
Prevention of exercise-induced bronchoconstriction in children 6 /years and older, taken at least 2 hours before exercise
Dosage
One 5 /mg chewable tablet once daily in the evening for children aged 6–14 years.
For exercise-induced symptoms, take a single dose at least 2 /hours before exercise; do not take more than one dose in 24 hours
Administration
May be taken with or without food; chewable tablets designed for ease of use in children
Missed Dose
If missed, take as soon as remembered unless it is close to the next scheduled dosing time. Do not double the dose
