Thinners are basically a group of solvents blended together that provides the ability to dissolve and thin oil-based paints. It reduces the viscosity of the paint thus allowing for a better finish. They can also be used for cleaning applications. The quality of thinner is most commonly distinguished by the amount of impurities/particles in the solvent. Debris or water particles from the low quality thinners can clog spray paint guns and eventually contaminate the finish. It is highly advisable to use the proper paint thinner to thin paint.
T601 GP Paint Thinner is formulated with high quality solvents resulting in lower impurities/particles in this particular paint thinner. It is the slowest drying thinner in our general purpose thinner range. Thus, it provides better quality leveling and smoother finish for paint jobs.
