Does this turn my VGA port into an Internet port?
No. This is for video signal transmission only. It does not allow your computer to connect to the internet through a VGA port.
Do I need two of these?
Yes. Usually, you need one for the source (PC/DVR) and one for the display (Monitor/Projector) to complete the "bridge" over the Ethernet cable.
Which cable works best?
For the best picture quality over 15 meters, we highly recommend using Pure Copper Cat6 cables. Lower-grade Cat5 cables may result in a blurry image over long distances.
