1.  Do I need a tool for this? Yes. This is a standard punch-down module. You will need a 110 Punch-Down Tool to seat the wires into the metal contacts and trim the excess wire.

2. Can I use this for my internet (DSL)? Yes! CAT3 is the standard grade for telephone lines that carry ADSL and VDSL signals. It will work perfectly as the wall outlet for your internet modem.

3. Will this fit in a network patch panel? Yes. As long as the patch panel is a "Modular Blank" or "Keystone" panel, this voice jack will snap right in alongside your Ethernet data jacks.
