The different types of composite hoses can be easily paired with the type of media they are to convey. They are constructed with layered foils and fabrics—such as polypropylene, polyamide, ECTFE, polyester, glass fibre, or aramid fibre—each selected for specific chemical and mechanical performance. These layers make the hose extremely flexible while maintaining strength and durability.
A reinforcing wire helix (zinc-plated steel, stainless steel, or aluminium) ensures excellent pressure and vacuum resistance. Composite hose assemblies are suitable for:
Oil & fuel transfer
Chemical handling (including highly aggressive chemicals)
Liquefied gas transfer
Concentrated alcohol transfer
Working Pressure: Up to 14 bar
Temperature Range: -30°C to +80°C
Size Range: 1” to 6” (optional customization)
Excellent chemical resistance
Good temperature resistance
Very lightweight for easy handling
High flexibility for tight bending applications
Suitable for both pressure & vacuum operations
Used for liquid transfer of chemicals, vegetable oils, mineral oils, and petroleum products. Composite hoses are commonly used:
For loading & unloading of road tankers and rail tankers
At port terminals & ship-to-shore transfer
At industrial processing plants
In fuel storage and distribution systems
Liner: Polypropylene films & fabrics
Reinforcement: Polypropylene coated inner wire + high tensile mild steel outer wire
Cover: Polypropylene films with PVC/polyester outer protection
