White tablets: Estradiol valerate 2 /mg each
Light brown tablets: Estradiol valerate 2 /mg + Norgestrel 0.5 /mg each
Cyclic hormone replacement therapy (HRT) for managing menopausal or peri menopausal symptoms (e.g. hot flushes, sleep disturbance, vaginal atrophy) in women with an intact uterus
For cycle regulation, irregular menstrual bleeding, amenorrhea, or prevention of postmenopausal osteoporosis
Dosage: Take one white tablet daily for 11 consecutive days, then one brown tablet daily for the next 10 days, followed by a 7 day break; this constitutes a full 28 day cycle
Administration: Tablets should be swallowed whole with water, preferably at the same time each day
Starting regimen: If menstruating, begin on day 5 of the cycle; post menopausal women or those with infrequent periods may start at any time (provided pregnancy is ruled out)
Missed tablet: If <12 /h late, take immediately; if >12 /h, skip and resume next tablet on schedule—do not double dose
