Betamethasone dipropionate, strength ~0.065 /% w/w (≈ /0.05 /% betamethasone) – a potent topical corticosteroid for reducing inflammation.
Salicylic acid 3 /% w/w – a keratolytic agent that helps exfoliate and soften skin lesions
This topical ointment is indicated for inflammatory skin conditions that benefit from corticosteroid and keratolytic action, such as:
Psoriasis
Eczema with thickened scale
Psoriatic plaques or hyperkeratotic dermatoses, particularly where both anti-inflammatory and exfoliating effects are desired
For external use only. Clean and dry the affected area before application. Wash hands before and after use
Apply a thin layer to the affected skin, gently rub in once or twice daily, or as directed by a healthcare professional
Safety warnings: Avoid prolonged use or application to broken skin.
Not recommended during pregnancy unless clearly needed (animal studies show teratogenic risk; human data limited)
