- Each gram of cream contains Econazole nitrate 10 /mg (an antifungal imidazole) and Triamcinolone acetonide 1 /mg (a mid potency corticosteroid).
Indications
- Topical treatment of inflammatory skin conditions with secondary fungal infection, such as tinea (ringworm, athlete’s foot, jock itch) accompanied by redness, itching, or inflammation.
Instructions
- Preparation
- Use on clean, dry, intact skin only.
- Wash hands before and after applying.
- Application
- Apply a thin layer gently over the affected area and nearby skin 1–2 times daily, usually for up to 14 days.
- Do not cover with tight bandages or occlusive dressings unless specifically advised.
- Special Guidance
- Groin application: Use sparingly and usually no longer than 2 /weeks; wear loose-fitting clothing. If no improvement after this, consult a doctor.
- Continue treatment for the full course even if symptoms improve early. Do not stop prematurely.
