Xamiol Gel contains two active ingredients:
- Betamethasone dipropionate — a corticosteroid that reduces inflammation and itching.
- Calcipotriol monohydrate — a vitamin D analog that helps regulate excessive skin cell growth.
Indications
- Treatment of plaque psoriasis (psoriasis vulgaris) on the scalp and other affected skin areas in adults.
Instructions for Use
- Shake the bottle well before use.
- Apply 1 to 4 grams of gel (about one teaspoon) to the affected skin areas.
- Gently massage the gel into the skin until absorbed.
- Do not cover the treated area with bandages or tight clothing.
- Wash your hands after applying to avoid accidental contact with eyes or face.
- For best results, avoid washing the scalp or bathing immediately after application.
- Leave the gel on the scalp overnight or throughout the day.
