Indications

Taflotan Eye Drops are used to:

• Lower elevated intraocular pressure (IOP) in patients with:

  • Open-angle glaucoma

  • Ocular hypertension

It is especially used when:

• Other medications (like beta-blockers) are not effective or tolerated.

• A prostaglandin analog is preferred.

Instructions

1. Dosage & Administration:

• Instill 1 drop into the affected eye(s) once daily in the evening.

• Do not use more than once per day—extra doses can reduce effectiveness.

2. How to Apply:

1. Wash your hands thoroughly.

2. Tilt your head back and gently pull down your lower eyelid.

3. Instill 1 drop into the eye's conjunctival sac (the pocket).

4. Close the eye gently and press the inner corner of your eye (near the nose) for 1–2 minutes to reduce drainage into the tear duct.

5. Avoid touching the dropper tip to your eye or any surface.

6. If using other eye drops, wait at least 5 minutes between products.

3. Storage:

• Store below 30°C (some versions require refrigeration at 2–8°C – check label).

• Use within 4 weeks after opening.

• Keep out of reach of children.
