Nexpro 20 /mg is indicated for:
Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and heartburn
Erosive esophagitis (healing and maintenance)
Peptic ulcer disease, including NSAID-induced ulcers
Helicobacter pylori eradication, in combination with antibiotics
Pathological hypersecretory conditions, including Zollinger–Ellison syndrome
Typical adult dose: 20 /mg once daily, for short-term therapy (usually 4–8 weeks); may extend based on physician’s assessment.
For erosive GERD or severe hypersecretion, higher doses (40 /mg) or longer durations may be used.
How to take:
Take at least 1 hour before meals, preferably in the morning, on an empty stomach.
Swallow the tablet whole with water. Do not crush, chew, or split it.
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember.
If it’s near the time of the next dose, skip the missed dose—do not double up.
