3/8" Chipping provides a smaller aggregate size for construction applications where compact stone particles are required. The existing product information identifies concrete aggregate and pipe bedding as its principal uses, making it suitable for selected concrete, drainage and utility projects.
Its smaller nominal size may allow the material to fit around pipes and confined areas more readily than larger hardcore stone. However, the required aggregate grading, concrete mix and bedding depth must follow the relevant project specification. Proper drainage and site preparation are important during Johor’s wet-weather periods.
