Unwashed Sand is a practical bulk-fill material for pond filling, road construction and selected site-development work.
Unwashed Sand is supplied in its less-processed form and is mainly intended for filling ponds and supporting road-construction applications. It can be considered for earthwork, level adjustment, temporary access preparation and selected general filling requirements, subject to site and engineering approval.
Because the material has not undergone a washing process, its natural fines and composition may vary. It should not automatically be substituted for washed concrete sand, plastering sand or specified structural fill. In Johor’s frequent rainfall, appropriate drainage, compaction and moisture management are important when using any bulk filling material.
