Why are there 6 pins for a simple ON-OFF switch? The 6-pin layout provides dual-pole switching and power for the light. Four pins are used to switch the Live and Neutral lines simultaneously (DPST), while the remaining two pins power the internal neon lamp so it illuminates only when the switch is active.
Will the neon light work with 110V or 12V systems? This specific neon lamp is optimized for AC 250V. While the switch itself can mechanically toggle lower voltages, the neon bulb may appear very dim at 110V and will not light up at all in 12V DC systems.
Will this fit into a standard 30mm rocker hole? No. This is a Large Format switch measuring 33.40mm in length. It is slightly larger than the common 30mm industrial standard and will require a specifically sized rectangular cutout for the snap-in clips to engage properly.
