(Lavender season: Late June to mid-July)

% Kawaguchi Lake Maple Corridor (Oct 26 – Nov 20, 60 minutes)

% Lake Yamanaka – Swan Cruise or Hot Spring Experience (Approx. 70 minutes; cruise or hot spring fees at your own expense)
Lake Yamanaka is the only one of the Fuji Five Lakes with a natural river outlet. It is also the largest and shallowest (only 13.3 meters deep). From Lake Yamanaka, Mt. Fuji appears with long, elegant ridgelines on both sides, creating a magnificent view.
Swans, called “hakucho” in Japanese, migrate here between February and April to lay eggs despite the cold weather. Since visitors often feed them, the swans sometimes swim close to people, giving Lake Yamanaka the nickname “Lake of Swans.” On June 22, 2013, it was recognized as part of the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site “Fujisan – Sacred Place and Source of Artistic Inspiration.”
Lake Yamanaka Sightseeing Boat “Swan Lake”
The cruise lasts approximately 25 minutes, allowing you to leisurely enjoy the scenery of Lake Yamanaka and the beautiful view of Mt. Fuji. Designed to resemble a graceful swan floating at the foot of Japan’s most iconic mountain, the boat was created by renowned Japanese designer Eiji Mitooka and has won multiple awards.
The interior features oak wood with elegant curved designs that create a warm and relaxing atmosphere. Special children’s seats, captain experience areas with steering wheels, and onboard telescopes make it especially enjoyable for families. You may also purchase swan feed at the dock (100 yen per pack) for a memorable wildlife experience.
If you choose the hot spring option, round-trip transfer will be provided (hot spring fees not included).
