Content

• Active Ingredient: Each tablet contains 4 mg perindopril erbumine, an ACE inhibitor used to treat hypertension and heart failure.

Indications

• Hypertension: Used to treat high blood pressure.
• Heart Failure: Used to manage heart failure.
• Stable Coronary Artery Disease: Reduction of risk of cardiac events in patients with a history of myocardial infarction and/or revascularisation.

Instructions

• Dosage:
  • Hypertension: The usual dose is 4 mg once daily, which may be increased to 8 mg once daily based on the patient's response.
  • Heart Failure: The usual dose is 2 mg once daily, which may be increased to 4 mg once daily based on the patient's response.
  • Stable Coronary Artery Disease: The usual dose is 4 mg once daily, which may be increased to 8 mg once daily based on the patient's response.
• Administration: Take the tablet with a sufficient amount of fluid (e.g., water). It is recommended to take this medication in the morning before breakfast.
• Contraindications:
  • Hypersensitivity to perindopril, to any of the excipients, or to any other ACE inhibitor. History of angioedema associated with previous ACE inhibitor therapy.
  • Hereditary or idiopathic angioedema.
  • Second and third trimesters of pregnancy.
  • The concomitant use of Provinace with aliskiren-containing products is contraindicated in patients with diabetes mellitus or renal impairment (GFR<60ml/min/1.73m²).
