AC condensate lift refers to the process of actively pumping condensation from air handlers, fan coils, or dehumidifiers to a suitable drain point when gravity flow is impossible. How It Works:
Condensate collects in a pump reservoir or sump. A float switch activates a dedicated pump that lifts the water vertically and/or pushes it horizontally through a small-diameter discharge line to the nearest drain.

When Condensate Lift is Required:

• Negative Drainage Situations: When the indoor unit is installed below the drain point (e.g., in basements, sunken floors).

• Insufficient Gravity Fall: When the required horizontal pipe run is too long or cannot maintain a continuous downward slope.

• Architectural Constraints: When routing a gravity drain pipe through walls or ceilings is structurally or aesthetically prohibitive.

• Centralized Drainage: When draining multiple units to a common sump and single discharge line.
