Cooling Tower Maintenance & Mechanical Servicing Works
EKG (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd carried out cooling tower maintenance and mechanical servicing works to ensure reliable operation and optimal system performance. The scope of work involved shutdown procedures, safety preparation, and access to internal cooling tower components for detailed inspection and servicing.
During the works, the cooling tower fan assembly was dismantled to allow mechanical inspection of the fan blades, shaft, motor, and drive components. Our technicians performed alignment, tightening, and adjustment works to ensure smooth rotation, balanced airflow, and reduced vibration during operation. Worn or affected components were checked and rectified to maintain system efficiency and durability.
All servicing activities were conducted in accordance with safety standards and industry best practices. Upon completion, the fan guards and protective covers were reinstalled, and operational testing was carried out to confirm stable performance and safe operation. This maintenance work helps extend the lifespan of the cooling tower while supporting consistent heat rejection and energy efficiency.
