In the brand-new Astro Originals drama Bride From The Past (幽冥新娘), documentary filmmaker Chen Xi Chi (played by Shane Tien Jun) sets out to explore the ancient custom of “ghost marriage.” Unexpectedly, he awakens A Dou (played by Jojo Goh), a ghostly bride from the 19th century. Trapped between the realms of the living and the dead, A Dou is tormented by unresolved pain and unable to let go of her past—until her fateful encounter with Xi Chi gradually unlocks the long-buried truth behind her death.
