Programme overview

• The Industrial Design (Intelligent Human-Computer Interaction Pilot Class) (Chinese-taught) undergraduate programme (4 years) is delivered in Chinese and covers AI and innovative design, intelligent product design, interface design, interaction prototyping, service design, ergonomics, interaction design technology, and intelligent human-computer interaction technology, building foundations in product styling and intelligent interaction design, human factors and service design, and interaction prototyping and information visualisation applications through coursework and projects (aligned with “Core subjects” and the application process below; modules follow programme notices).

Career pathways (overview)

• Graduates may pursue roles in internet and smart hardware enterprises, product design and manufacturing enterprises, interaction and experience design teams, and design consultancy and cultural and creative organisations, including assistant product designer, interaction and interface design support, intelligent product prototyping support, and user research and experience design support, subject to employers’ requirements and recruitment policies.
• They may also pursue further postgraduate study in industrial design, interaction design, design studies, human-computer interaction, art theory, and related MA/PhD programmes, subject to admissions.
