Third-Party Regulatory Costs: All incoming shipments are subject to current Royal Malaysian Customs Department regulations. These charges include, but are not limited to, Import Duties (e.g., standard 5% for professional hand tools and sets under HS Codes 8206.00 and 8204.00), Sales and Service Tax (10% SST), and related custom administrative fees.
Compounded Tax Calculation (Tax-on-Tax Effect): Please be advised that Malaysia customs applies a compounded calculation formula. The 10% SST is levied on the SST Taxable Value, which is the sum of the initial CIF value (Cost, Insurance, and Freight) plus the 5% Import Duty amount.
Advanced Payment & Mandatory Reimbursement: To eliminate operational bottlenecks and avoid heavy port storage penalties, all import taxes and SST duties are strictly advanced on behalf of the client by our logistics team. These are third-party hidden costs outside of our direct equipment pricing and are purely advanced for immediate item release. Consequently, a full and immediate reimbursement of these advanced regulatory amounts is strictly mandatory prior to final local delivery or collection.
