Take the frustration out of testing small components with our Hook Clip Grabber Test Probes. These miniature spring-loaded hooks are designed specifically for the delicate task of grabbing onto tiny IC pins, SMD components, and thin wires. By providing a secure, hands-free connection, these grabbers allow you to focus on your multimeter or oscilloscope readings without worrying about probes slipping or causing a short circuit.
IC & SMD Testing: Securely hook onto individual legs of integrated circuits for stable signal monitoring.
Logic Analyzers: Perfect for connecting multiple channels to a bus or headers on a PCB.
Breadboard Prototyping: Create temporary, reliable jumpers for testing circuit logic during development.
Repair & Diagnostics: Use in tight spaces where standard multimeter probes are too bulky to fit.
Spring-Loaded "Grabber" Mechanism: Features a durable internal spring that extends a tiny metal hook to firmly clasp onto pins and wires.
Fully Insulated Slim Profile: The narrow, insulated body allows for high-density testing on crowded boards without touching adjacent components.
Easy Wire Attachment: Includes a rear entry port (as seen in the image) for easy connection to your existing test leads or jumper wires.
Color-Coded for Efficiency: Comes in Red and Black to help you track positive, negative, or signal lines instantly.
Steady Connection: Once clipped on, they won't let go, ensuring a constant electrical path even if the board is moved.
Lightweight Design: Their minimal weight prevents them from pulling on delicate surface-mount components or bending pins.
Versatile Compatibility: Works seamlessly with most logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and custom-made test lead sets.
Product Type: Miniature Hook Clip Grabber
Available Colors: 1x Red, 1x Black (per pair)
How do I connect these to my multimeter?
These probes are designed to be used with thin-gauge wire or specialized test leads. You can usually solder or thread a lead into the small hole located at the top of the plunger.
Will they break easily?
While designed for precision work, the internal springs and hooks are made of high-quality metals to withstand thousands of "clicks" without losing tension.
Can they handle high voltage?
No. These are intended for low-voltage signal testing (typically logic levels or DC signals under 30V). They are not rated for AC mains testing.
