Stop guessing and start measuring. Our Universal Digital Battery Tester provides an instant, clear readout of any battery's power level. Designed with a sliding arm to accommodate multiple sizes, this tool is essential for identifying "dead" cells in a series pack and ensuring your high-drain devices always have the energy they need.
One Size Fits All: The adjustable sliding arm supports AA, AAA, C, D, UM-5 (N), and 1.5V button cells.
Dedicated 9V Port: Features specialized contact points on the top for testing 9V "block" batteries.
Clear Digital Display: Features an easy-to-read LCD that shows the precise voltage or a simple power-level scale (Good/Low/Replace).
No Internal Battery Required: The tester is "parasitic"—it draws the tiny amount of power it needs directly from the battery you are testing.
Home Maintenance: Quickly sort through that "junk drawer" of batteries to find the ones that still have life.
Troubleshooting: If a 4-slot AA device stops working, use this to find the single weak cell that is breaking the circuit.
Inventory Management: Check the health of batteries stored in your EMX Battery Holders before shipping out project kits.
Education: A safe way for students to learn about voltage drop and the difference between Alkaline and Zinc-Carbon life cycles.
Universal Compatibility: Tests almost every standard household battery in one compact unit.
Lightweight & Portable: Small enough to fit in a pocket or tool belt for on-site troubleshooting.
Durable ABS Body: Built with a rugged frame to handle the drops and bumps of a busy workshop.
Product Type: Universal Digital Battery Checker
Included: 1x Universal Digital Battery Tester
Does it test 18650 batteries? While 18650s will fit in the sliding arm, this tester is calibrated for 1.5V and 9V. It may not give an accurate percentage for 3.7V Lithium-ion cells. For those, we recommend our 3-in-1 Battery Tester Series.
Why does it show "Good" but my device won't turn on? This tester measures "unloaded" voltage. Some batteries might show high voltage but fail under "load" (when the device is actually drawing power). If the tester shows "Low," the battery is definitely near the end.
Do I need to charge it? Nope! It has no internal battery of its own. It is ready to use the moment you take it out of the box.
