Eliminate the risk of accidental cable pull-outs with the EMX Electronic Locking 6.35mm Mono Wall Plate. Designed for high-energy environments like live stages, recording studios, and rehearsal spaces, this plate features a precision-engineered locking mechanism mounted on a rugged Brushed Metal Faceplate. Your cable "clicks" into place and stays there until you manually press the release tab—providing the ultimate peace of mind for critical performances.
Fail-Safe Connection: The mechanical lock prevents cables from being yanked out if someone trips over a wire or moves too far on stage.
Industrial Strength: The brushed metal faceplate is built to withstand the high torque and physical stress of professional "plug-and-pull" action—it won't crack or flex like plastic.
Studio-Grade Signal: High-tension internal contacts and a heavy-duty metal housing reduce vibration and electromagnetic interference (EMI) for a cleaner audio signal.
Professional Red-Tab Release: A quick-release mechanical button allows for fast, intentional cable swaps while preventing accidental disconnections.
Live Stages & Venues: The perfect "Guitar Input" or "Monitor Feed" point on stage floors or walls where movement is constant.
Recording Studios: Secure your instrument lines in the live room so a recording session is never ruined by a loose plug.
School Halls & Auditoriums: Prevent students or equipment movers from accidentally unplugging permanent audio installations.
Corporate AV Panels: A durable, premium-looking solution for podiums and conference room audio inputs.
Universal 1/4" (6.35mm) Fit: Compatible with all standard mono TS (Tip-Sleeve) instrument and line cables.
Permanent Solder Connection: Features rugged rear solder terminals to ensure a high-fidelity, permanent audio bond that won't vibrate loose.
Scratch-Resistant Metal: The brushed finish resists fingerprints and scuffs, maintaining a professional look in heavy-use commercial areas.
Product Type: Locking 6.35mm Mono Female Wall Plate
Material: Brushed Metal Faceplate + Zinc Alloy Locking Socket
Connection: Rear Solder Terminals (Tip/Sleeve)
Can I use this with a normal guitar cable? Absolutely! It works with any standard 6.35mm (1/4") mono jack. The only difference is that once it's plugged in, it's locked. To remove it, just press the red release lever on the socket.
How deep does my wall box need to be? Because the locking mechanism is slightly longer than a standard jack, we highly recommend a deep back box (35mm to 40mm) to allow enough room for the wiring behind the metal plate.
Is soldering hard? Not at all! There are two clearly defined terminals (Signal and Ground). A solid solder joint ensures that the connection remains "crackles-free" even with the heavy use these plates are designed for.
