% Popular Photo Spot – Arakurayama Sengen Park (Approx. 60 minutes)

A trending Instagram hotspot, known as one of the “21 Places Photographers Around the World Must Visit Before They Die.” This is one of the best locations to capture a panoramic view of Mt. Fuji. Climb the 397 steps near the main hall to photograph Mt. Fuji and the townscape below in one frame. Visitors from around the world come to admire this iconic view.

Not only is it famous for cherry blossoms in spring, but it is also stunning with fresh greenery in summer, red leaves in autumn, and snowy scenery in winter. You can also overlook the charming cityscape of Fujiyoshida.

% Hikawa Clock Shop – Hidden Photo Spot with Mt. Fuji at the End of the Street (Approx. 20 minutes)

Escape the city and visit this quiet “ladder town” near Mt. Fuji. The peaceful street stretches toward the mountain, creating the illusion that Mt. Fuji stands at the end of the road—close yet seemingly out of reach.

This Instagram-famous spot allows you to capture a classic Japanese street scene with Mt. Fuji perfectly framed in the background, producing highly photogenic shots.

% Oshino Hakkai – The “Jiuzhaigou at the Foot of Mt. Fuji” (Approx. 90 minutes)

Oshino Hakkai consists of eight clear springs formed by snowmelt from Mt. Fuji that has filtered through layers of earth. Known for its beautiful natural scenery, the sparkling pond waters blend harmoniously with Mt. Fuji in the background, creating breathtaking views that attract photographers from afar.

Oshino Hakkai is designated as a National Natural Monument of Japan.

14:30 Yamanashi

% Oishi Park at Lake Kawaguchi (Approx. 50 minutes; visited outside seasonal event periods instead of the Maple Corridor)

In summer, lavender blooms across Oishi Park like a purple carpet, beautifully complementing Mt. Fuji. In autumn, the kochia (summer cypress) turns bright red, creating a fluffy, eye-catching landscape. The park also hosts the Kawaguchi Lake Herb Festival.

% Lake Kawaguchi Cherry Blossom Festival (Seasonal: April 5 – April 14, 2024; approx. 50 minutes; replaces Oishi Park)

Held along the northern shore of Lake Kawaguchi near the Circular Hall, this is a famous photo spot where Mt. Fuji, the lake, and cherry blossoms appear in one frame.

% Fuji Motosuko Rainbow Flower Festival (Seasonal: Aug 31 – Oct 14, 2024; approx. 50 minutes; replaces Oishi Park)

Held at Fuji Motosuko Resort by Lake Motosu, this festival features approximately 90,000 flowers of 15 varieties arranged in rainbow-like layers of red, orange, and yellow, forming a colorful floral carpet.

Photo spots include:
• “Boat Sailing on the Rainbow Flower Sea”
• “The Yellow Door of Happiness”

15:40 Yamanashi

% Lawson Convenience Store – Travel Photography Hotspot (Approx. 20 minutes)

Each guest will receive one complimentary drink (coffee or tea, hot or cold; choose one). The driver-guide will purchase the drinks collectively.

How to capture the iconic Lawson street shot? Set up a tripod across the street, switch to portrait mode, and wait patiently for fewer pedestrians before snapping the perfect photo.

Although the photos are beautiful, please be careful when crossing the road and prioritize safety.

End of the tour and return to Tokyo. Return time is for reference only and may be earlier depending on traffic and the day’s schedule.

18:50 Tokyo

Arrive at Shin-Marunouchi Building (Tokyo Station) / Shinjuku LOVE Sculpture. Pleasantly conclude the day’s tour.
Guests with the meeting point package may disband at either Tokyo Station or Shinjuku.

Tokyo Station
Located in Chiyoda Ward in the Marunouchi business district, Tokyo Station is a major transportation hub connecting numerous Shinkansen and railway lines. Its iconic red-brick station building is designated as an Important Cultural Property of Japan and was restored in 2012 to reflect its original 100-year-old appearance.

Shinjuku
One of Tokyo’s most bustling commercial districts, centered around Shinjuku Station. It is a shopper’s paradise with department stores, electronics shops, drugstores, and fashion boutiques such as Odakyu, Keio, and Isetan.

Shinjuku is also home to Kabukicho, Japan’s most famous entertainment and nightlife district, known as “Japan’s No.1 Entertainment Street.” Shinjuku Station is one of the busiest railway stations in the world, serving nearly 4 million passengers daily. Nearby attractions include Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building, and Golden Gai.
