• Active Ingredient: Telmisartan 40mg
• Dosage Form: Film-coated tablet

• Essential Hypertension: To lower blood pressure in adults with high blood pressure.
• Cardiovascular Risk Reduction: To reduce the risk of myocardial infarction (heart attack), stroke, or death from cardiovascular causes in patients aged 55 years or older who are at high risk of developing major cardiovascular events and are unable to take angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors.

• Dosage for Adults with Essential Hypertension: 40 mg once daily; may be increased to a maximum of 80 mg once daily.
• Dosage for Cardiovascular Risk Reduction: 80 mg once daily.
• Administration: Take with or without food.
• Missed Dose: If a dose is missed, take it as soon as remembered unless it's nearly time for the next dose; do not take two doses on the same day.
• Special Considerations: In patients with mild to moderate hepatic impairment, the dose should not exceed 40 mg once daily.
