Indications
YSP Somin 2mg Tablet is indicated for:
- Relief of symptoms associated with allergic conditions, such as red, itchy, watery eyes; sneezing; itchy nose or throat; and runny nose caused by allergies, hay fever, or the common cold.
- Adjunctive therapy for anaphylactic reactions controlled by epinephrine and other standard measures.
- Treatment of urticaria (hives), a skin condition characterized by swelling, redness, and itching.
Instructions for Use
- Dosage for Adults: 2 mg orally every 4 to 6 hours as needed.
- Dosage for Children:
- Ages 6–11 years: 1 mg orally every 4 to 6 hours.
- Ages 2–5 years: 0.5 mg orally every 4 to 6 hours.
- Maximum Daily Dose:
- Adults: 6 mg per day.
- Children aged 6–11 years: 6 mg per day.
- Children aged 2–5 years: 3 mg per day.
The tablet can be taken with or without food. It is important to follow the prescribed dosage and consult a healthcare professional if symptoms persist or worsen.
