Indication
Levozal is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of:
Seasonal allergic rhinitis (including ocular symptoms)
Perennial allergic rhinitis
Chronic idiopathic urticaria
These conditions are characterized by symptoms such as sneezing, runny or itchy nose, nasal congestion, and itchy or watery eyes.
Adults and adolescents (≥12 years): Take 1 tablet (5 /mg) once daily, preferably in the evening.
Children (6–12 years): Take 1 tablet (5 /mg) once daily, preferably in the evening.
Renal Impairment:
For patients with moderate renal impairment (CrCl 30–49 /mL/min), take 5 /mg once daily every 2 days.
For patients with severe renal impairment (CrCl <30 /mL/min), take 5 /mg once daily every 3 days.
Administration: Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. It may be taken with or without food.
