Our recent project in Permatang Pauh, completed for Mr. Hafidz and his family, is a beautiful example of how timeless design can meet modern-day practicality. With a vision for a space that feels both elegant and welcoming, this kitchen balances classic style with refined finishes — all tailored to suit a busy family's lifestyle.
From the start, Mr. Hafidz and his family envisioned a kitchen that was spacious, elegant, and family-friendly. They wanted a space where timeless design could meet daily functionality — without feeling overly trendy or sterile. We designed a layout and material palette that reflects warmth and sophistication, while ensuring the kitchen supports real-life routines at home.
This kitchen takes on a modern classic approach — blending beige shaker-style cabinet doors with a rich, dark porcelain countertop featuring subtle gold veining. The combination delivers visual depth and luxury without overwhelming the space. A herringbone backsplash adds subtle texture, while warm lighting beneath open shelves provides a soft, ambient glow.
The L-shape layout with a dedicated island counter was crafted to encourage interaction — whether for meal prep, family gatherings, or a quick breakfast. Every corner of the kitchen was designed with intention: soft-close drawers, organized storage, and durable surfaces come together to support both beauty and practicality.
A mix of warm-toned wood flooring, classic bar stools, and a statement crystal chandelier add a personal and cozy touch to the space. For Mr. Hafidz and his family, this kitchen is more than just a place to cook — it's a central spot where function, comfort, and timeless design come together.
