Contents

• Active Ingredient: Each tablet contains 15 mg of rivaroxaban, a direct oral anticoagulant that inhibits factor Xa, reducing the formation of blood clots.

Indications

• Treat blood clots in the veins of the legs (deep vein thrombosis, DVT) and in the blood vessels of the lungs (pulmonary embolism, PE).
• Prevent blood clots from re-occurring in the blood vessels of the legs and/or lungs after initial treatment.

Instructions for Use

• Dosage: For the initial treatment of acute DVT and PE, take 15 mg twice daily for the first three weeks, then continue with 20 mg once daily for the remainder of the treatment.
• Administration: Take the tablet with food to enhance absorption.
• Missed Dose: If a dose is missed, take it as soon as possible on the same day. Do not take two doses on the same day to make up for a missed dose.
• Crushing Tablets: If you have difficulty swallowing tablets, Xarelto 15 mg tablets can be crushed and mixed with water or applesauce immediately before taking. After administration, follow with food.
