Content

• Active Ingredient: Each tablet contains 250 micrograms (0.25 mg) of digoxin, a cardiac glycoside used to treat heart failure and certain arrhythmias.
• Excipients: Each tablet contains 95.525 mg of lactose monohydrate.
• Appearance: The tablet is white, round, biconvex, bisected, and debossed with “DO25” on one side and plain on the other.

Indications

• Chronic Cardiac Failure: Indicated in the management of chronic cardiac failure where the dominant problem is systolic dysfunction, especially in patients with ventricular dilatation.
• Atrial Fibrillation: Specifically indicated where cardiac failure is accompanied by atrial fibrillation.
• Supraventricular Arrhythmias: Indicated in the management of certain supraventricular arrhythmias, particularly chronic atrial flutter and fibrillation.

Instructions

• Dosage: The dose of digoxin should be tailored individually according to age, lean body weight, and renal function. 
• Administration: Take the tablet orally with water. Do not chew, crush, or break it.
• Missed Dose: If a dose is missed, take it as soon as you remember. If it's almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not take two doses at once.
• Storage: Store in the original package to protect from moisture. Keep out of the sight and reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date.
