Ulipristal acetate
Indication
Emergency contraception w/in 120 hr (5 days) of unprotected sexual intercourse or contraceptive failure.
Instruction
1 tab taken not later than 120 hr (5 days) after unprotected intercourse or contraceptive failure. May be taken at any moment during the menstrual cycle. Another tab should be taken if vomiting occurs w/in 3 hr of intake.
Drug interaction
Rifampicin, phenytoin, phenobarbital, carbamazepine, St. John's wort, esomeprazole, and progestogen-containing medicinal products.
