WEICON Urethanes are 2-component coating and casting compounds based on polyurethane. They cure at room temperature to a rubber-like material and remain flexible down to -60 °C (-76 °F). .
WEICON Urethanes adhere to a variety of materials such as metals, concrete, rubber, wood, fibre glass, and many others. In combination with WEICON Plastic Metal epoxy resin systems, for example, they are suitable for flexible coatings.
Due to their low sensitivity to humidity, the Urethanes can also be used for coatings in thin layers. WEICON Urethanes also show high tensile strength and tear resistance.
