Capsular Support Segment

This is a partial ring of clear PMMA covering approximately one quadrant with a scleral fixation eyelet for temporary or permanent fixation.

It is used to stabilize and recenter the capsular bag
Specially designed for scleral fixation with sutures through eyelets in a cataract surgery
The eyelet is projecting anteriorly which allows it to sit outside the capsular bag
