The Festo VACC series are solenoid coils designed for actuating Festo valves, specifically engineered for use with 13 mm or 18 mm armature guide tubes . Available with different types of explosion protection (Ex ia, Ex e mb, Ex db) for use in hazardous areas, these coils operate with very low power consumption, featuring a built-in current pulse generator or bridge rectifier for efficient switching . They are intended for use with compressed air only and can be combined with specified solenoid valves in zones 1 and 2 for explosive gas atmospheres and zones 21 and 22 for explosive dust atmospheres .
