Foundation in Life Sciences UM-SATU (University Malaya) is a 1-year, full-time, on-campus foundation programme delivered in English at University Malaya's Kuala Lumpur campus. It prepares you for direct progression into University Malaya degree programmes in the life sciences.
Across two semesters you will build a strong foundation in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics, complemented by Information Technology, Self Development, Basic Communication Skills and English for Foundation Studies, and supported by extensive practical laboratory work in Chemistry and Physics.
Graduates of this Foundation are positioned to articulate directly into UM degree programmes, with a rigorous science curriculum that develops the academic literacy, analytical skills and laboratory competence required for an undergraduate science pathway at University Malaya.
