  • Under the Factories and Machinery Act 1967, all unfired pressure vessels must have a valid Certificate of Fitness (CF) before operation.
  • Design approval must be obtained from the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) prior to fabrication, installation, or use.
  • Applications may be submitted by the manufacturer, installer, supplier, or owner of the vessel.
  • Local manufacturers must be registered with DOSH before producing pressure vessels.
