The Singapore Blue is a massive arboreal (tree-dwelling) tarantula.
Females: Display stunning violet-blue or purple legs with a golden carapace. They are among the largest arboreal spiders in Asia.
Males: Are dull brown or olive green and much smaller (sexual dimorphism). Unlike the Cobalt Blue, this species lives in trees and builds silken tube webs in hollows.
Notes Husbandry: Requires a tall terrarium with cork bark tubes and high humidity. They grow very fast.
Temperament: Extremely fast and defensive. They can sprint tele-portationally fast.
