This project was designed to improve both the visual appearance and daily usability of the condominium. The layout planning focused on creating better storage, clearer separation between the living and kitchen area, and a brighter modern interior suitable for a compact high-rise home.
The overall concept for this Summerskye Condominium project is modern, bright and space-efficient.
The living area features a custom TV cabinet with wood grain backing, soft grey panels and LED lighting to create a warm focal point. The built-in display and storage cabinet beside the kitchen entrance adds practical storage while maintaining a clean, seamless look.
For the kitchen, Kitchen Story designed both dry kitchen and wet kitchen areas using glossy white cabinetry, subway tile backing and sintered stone countertop. The result is a bright, easy-to-clean and durable kitchen space suitable for daily cooking and long-term use.
The aluminium glass partition with sliding door helps separate the kitchen from the living and dining area, while still allowing natural light to pass through. This creates a more open feeling without fully closing off the kitchen.

As a 1,200 sqft condominium unit, the main challenge was to maximise storage and function without making the home feel crowded. Every cabinet and built-in feature needed to serve a practical purpose while keeping the visual layout clean.
The client required a more defined separation between the kitchen and living area, but a fully solid partition would make the space feel smaller and reduce natural light flow.
The kitchen needed to look modern while still being practical for daily use. Material selection had to balance appearance, durability, cleaning convenience and long-term maintenance.
This project involved several work categories, including carpentry, tiling, countertop, ceiling, painting, air-conditioning and plumbing. Proper site coordination was important to ensure the renovation flow remained organised.
Kitchen Story designed custom cabinets according to the actual site measurements and usage needs. Built-in carpentry was used to maximise storage while keeping the home visually neat and uncluttered.
To separate the kitchen and living area, an aluminium glass partition with sliding door was installed. This solution helps reduce cooking area exposure while still allowing light to flow through the home.
The kitchen was completed with subway tile backing and sintered stone countertop. These materials provide a clean modern appearance while offering good durability and easier cleaning for daily kitchen use.
White, grey and light wood tones were used throughout the home to make the condominium feel brighter and more spacious. The wood element adds warmth, while the light-coloured cabinetry keeps the design fresh and modern.
Kitchen Story coordinated the interior design, carpentry production and renovation-related works to ensure the project outcome remained consistent with the design plan.
The completed Summerskye Condominium project presents a bright, modern and functional home interior. The living area feels open and comfortable, the kitchen is practical and easy to maintain, and the custom carpentry provides useful storage throughout the home.
With careful space planning, durable material selection and proper renovation coordination, Kitchen Story Sdn. Bhd. transformed this Bayan Lepas condominium into a comfortable modern home suitable for daily living.
