Overview
The Rugged Wall-Mount package is suitable for critical facilities, industrial plants, utilities, data centres, semiconductor facilities and outdoor / semi-outdoor electrical installations where a normal DIN rail instrument installation may not be practical. It combines the PQube 3 analyser with an enclosure, wiring terminals and installation accessories into one cleaner package.
Once mounted and wired, the PQube 3 automatically detects mains frequency, nominal voltage and wiring configuration. This helps reduce commissioning time and allows the site team to start collecting power quality events, trends, energy records and reports quickly.
Positioning: Rugged ready-to-install wall-mount power quality monitoring package for permanent PQube 3 deployment in industrial and critical electrical environments.

Typical Applications
Industrial Plants
Permanent monitoring at incoming feeders, production lines, MCC rooms and sensitive equipment panels.
Semiconductor Facilities
Monitor power quality events affecting tools, process stability and cleanroom support systems.
Data Centres
Monitor UPS outputs, PDUs, critical panels and support systems where uptime matters.
Utilities and Substations
Use for feeder, distribution and site-level power quality monitoring in rugged locations.
Commercial Buildings
Monitor power quality in buildings with lifts, HVAC, UPS, data rooms and sensitive loads.
Remote Sites
Use modem-ready option for monitoring sites where wired Ethernet is not practical.
Why Use the Rugged Wall-Mount Package?
Standard DIN rail monitoring works well inside a finished control panel. However, many power quality monitoring points are installed at existing switchboards, outdoor utility points, substations, pump stations, industrial buildings or remote locations. The Rugged Wall-Mount package provides a cleaner and safer approach for these installations.
- Reduces the need to design a separate enclosure around the PQube 3
- Simplifies installation using quick-connect terminal blocks
- Allows safe touchscreen access through the hinged window
- Supports remote reporting and modem-ready deployment
- Provides UPS backup for disturbance capture during interruptions
- Helps standardise PQ monitoring installation across multiple sites
Integration with IoTWatt 4.0 and Monitoring Systems
The PQube 3 Rugged Wall-Mount package can be integrated into a wider monitoring ecosystem. For IoTWatt 4.0 projects, it can provide high-resolution power quality event data, energy trends and disturbance records that complement normal metering and energy analytics.
- Use PQube 3 event reports for power quality incident investigation
- Correlate PQ events with energy, equipment operation and production data
- Use remote notifications for faster response to voltage disturbances
- Support EECA, energy audit and critical facility power quality reporting
- Use with IoTWatt 4.0 dashboards, alarms, tickets and site-level visibility where required
